This is to inform the general public that our Post Office in 15 days from the date of this announcement will be implementing a "One Distribution Corridor System" in receiving and clearing packages or large items via mail.
This process is to provide a smoother customer service and a transparent and equal enforcement of our border control laws at the Post Office to protect our country.
This will be a two-step process: 1. Customer must positively identify the item and to accept it with full responsibility at the Distribution Window; Post Office Agent may ask for a source of identification if He or She deems necessary before releasing the item(s). 2. Customer must enter into Customs' door for proper clearance and then go out through the exit door at the Customs area.
The Post Office management and staff ask our customers for their cooperation and understanding on this necessary process.
